Springtime is here, which means many of us are cleaning our nests garages of those harmful products like pesticides, paint, and other chemicals that are not safe for our trash cans. So twice a year, Rivanna Solid Waste Authority hosts Commercial and Household Hazardous Waste Days, along with Amnesty Days for large items like mattresses and appliances. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to keep our environment safe and clean.

Saturday, April 2, 2016: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Amnesty Days at Ivy Material Utilization Center
Saturdays throughout April, 2016 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
The next special collection will be held at the Ivy Material Utilization Center on the following Saturday dates:

Service is available to Albemarle County and Charlottesville residents only.
Normal tipping fees will be charged to residents for all non-amnesty items brought on these days. Also, please note the Ivy facility will accept all above items during normal operation. Contact RSWA (295-3306) regarding tipping fees for the above items.
If these times do not work for your schedule, we will host another round in the fall of 2016.
