Household Hazardous Waste starts tomorrow morning at our Ivy Material Utilization Center (MUC or some call it the “old Ivy landfill”) Friday, April 28th at 9am and runs until 2pm and Saturday, April 29th from 9am-2pm. Bring your pesticides, kerosene, solvents, paint-related products for safe disposal. We partner with CARE Environmental to help rid homes of hazardous waste! Thanks to Charlottesville police department for helping us get the word out and for the pre-event coverage by NBC29. The traffic lines can be long, so we have a dedicated page which will be updated every hour, on the hour with wait times on our website Rivanna.org.
