SUGAR HOLLOW DAM PNEUMATIC PIPE MODIFICATION
The Authority is seeking quotes for modification of the 2” and 3” stainless steel pneumatic piping for the rubber inflatable crest gate, or “rubber bladder” at the Sugar Hollow Dam in White Hall, Virginia. Work includes removal of portions of the existing piping within the gatehouse, replacement with new piping and fittings and welding of seams, placement of pipe supports, and sealing pipe penetrations through the gate house walls.
