Steve started his career with the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority as a Mechanics Helper in 1993.  While at RSWA he also held the positions of Truck Driver  and Lead Mechanic.  In 2002, Steve transferred to the Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority as a Vehicle Mechanic.  Steve was promoted to Maintenance Assistant Manager in 2020 and Maintenance Department Manager in 2025.  Steve has vast experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance.

Outside of work, Steve works on his family’s farm raising beef cattle, pigs and chickens.  He also spends time with his family and is enjoying his two granddaughters.
