RWSA Declares Drought Warning
Tuesday, October 5, 2017 A Special Emergency meeting of the Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority Board of Directors was held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. The Board authorized the Chair to declare a Drought Warning which include mandatory water restrictions for the Charlottesville – Albemarle area. These restrictions are being implemented due to the rapid loss of water storage at the South Fork Rivanna Reservoir.
