Winners of Art Contest Celebrated!

The Albemarle County Service Authority, the City of Charlottesville Public Works, and Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority celebrated the winners of the 2016 Imagine a Day Without Water contest Tuesday evening at ACSA’s offices on Spotnap Road. If we had to guess, we’d say that nearly every household in our community probably contains paint containers either old or new that folks would like to properly dispose of.  In the past RSWA’s Fall or Spring Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days has been the only option — and usually a popular and time-consuming one! Successful Odor Control Kickoff

Friday, July 15th Rivanna hosted an Odor Control Kickoff at Riverview Park for local officials, media, and neighbors.  We shared the good news that our contractors have mobilized their equipment and construction is beginning!  We also heard from City Councilor Kathy Galvin, Board of Supervisor Rick Randolph, Rivanna Solid Waste Authority Board Chair, and Woolen Mills President John Frazee.
