Scott joined Rivanna as a Senior Civil Engineer in 2014. While in that position he was responsible for the management of various projects and supervised the Engineering Technicians/Inspectors as they provided utility locating and construction inspection services. Now, as the Engineering Manager, he manages all aspects of the Engineering Department including Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) projects, development design review, construction inspection, and utility locating.
Prior to coming to RWSA, Scott spent 16 years providing water and wastewater engineering services in the consulting industry, beginning his career with Blasland, Bouck & Lee (now Arcadis) in Syracuse, New York as an entry level engineer and more recently as the Utilities Division Manager for Draper Aden Associates in Richmond, Virginia where he managed utility related engineering services for their four Virginia offices. Scott is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University.
